Economics and Capital 

In part 2, we saw how (after the initial grind), Time is the only central factor that affects our decisions as a creator.

Anyone creating value fits into this equation - Turns X into Y by using Z.

In Economics: X = scarce resources | Y = products & services | Z = factors of production

To understand the 4 Factors of Production, let's take an example of a coffee shop:

1) Land: Rented space + coffee beans, water etc sourced from Earth

2) Labor: We hire people to build, manage & operate the shop

3) Capital: Physical items (coffee grinders etc) + Human capital (skills)

4) Entrepreneurship: Bring the beliefs, inspiration, planning & investment

For Creators land & labor factors are 0 (assuming largely one-person businesses). Being a Creator brings with it the implicit notion & responsibilities of entrepreneurship by definition. That means the ONLY Factor of Production for Creators is......Capital!

Let's get back to our equation: Anyone creating value - Turns X into Y by using Z.

For Creators X = Time (mainly), Y = Digital Products & Services & Z = Capital!

But let's take a closer look at Capital to appreciate it well enough.

Capital & Creators

What exactly IS Capital?

Formally, Capital is a broad term for anything that gives its owner value or advantage.

In economics, it includes things like a factory and its equipment, intellectual property like patents, or a company's or person's financial assets.

But what is "Capital" for Creators?

The answer lies in investigating WHAT value or advantages a Creator could have, right?

Here's my answer [inspired by Alex Hormozi]. Capital for Creators is the combination

1) Skills: What you can do better than others? (eg writing)

2) Traits: What about your character is better? (eg A+ work ethic)

3) Beliefs: What limiting beliefs have you overcome? (eg. writing online is not a career)

The key idea is this: To level up, you need all 3 leveling up in sync. If you have 8/10 skills & 8/10 traits but your beliefs are at 2/20, you WILL stay at 2/10 until you fix this bottle neck.

So an important learning is to not fix the circumstance but fix the real bottleneck to level up. Because as you accumulate more capital, you outcompete others & create more value.

Creator Capital

You now know the essence behind the name of this Newsletter. So let's apply "Turns X into Y by using Z" to Creator Capital:

Creator Capital helps you save & invest Time to create Digital Products & Services by leveling up your Capital (skills, traits & beliefs) as an Active Creator.

It's anyone who is ACTIVELY building an Audience Online & monetizing their Personal Brand via Digital Products or Services. In other words, anyone who is working to check (or checks) all 4 boxes in the CCCD framework.

It is for the person in the "arena" who's taking action every day & has one of the 3 Creator modes (Hard/ Easy/ Parallel) switched on — reflected in the "Power On" symbol in Creator Capital's thumbnail.

What is the North Star/ driving force behind this? (What)

The primary aim is to turn you into a beast when it comes to saving & investing Time (as you fix your money & energy issues along the way).

Investing Time right via leveraging principles of Sales, Marketing & Offers.

What is the mechanism by which you will do this? (How)

By creating value or advantage for you through leveling up your skills, traits & beliefs as an Active Creator. 

I focus on writing, selling & creating within skills.

Time, Money and Energy Management within traits.

And the potential of us creating 8 billion monopolies within beliefs.

You might be asking:
